Rutland, VT: Rutland sanitary connections exclude stormwater sources
Rutland City’s published ordinance requires written permission for public sewer connections and prohibits connecting roof, foundation and other stormwater sources to a public sanitary sewer through a building drain. This is a city rule, not a Rutland County-wide standard.

What this changes in the bid review
Estimating interpretation: A combined line label on an early drawing needs clarification before quantities are issued. Follow the approved design and keep foundation drainage separate from sanitary work unless the responsible authority has explicitly resolved the receiving system.
